The event brought together around 300 participants to discuss the main topics of Accounting and served as a preview of the State CONVECON, which will be held in 2025<\/p>\n
On August 22, 2024, the city of Santo Andr\u00e9 hosted the 29th Regional CONVECON. In a day of great interaction and knowledge, the Convention brought together in the auditorium of Anhanguera Educacional some of the greatest experts in the market to talk about accounting, tax, technology and management topics. Accounting professionals with the longest registration time with CRCSP were also honored.<\/p>\n
At the opening, the vice president of Professional Development of CRCSP, Wander Pinto, the president of Sescon-SP, Carlos Alberto Baptist\u00e3o and the president of the Accountants' Union of Santo Andr\u00e9 (Sincosa) and representative of CRCSP in S\u00e3o Caetano do Sul, Ulisses Celso Garcia Gon\u00e7alves, welcomed the participants, highlighting the importance of regional meetings, promoted by Accounting Entities of the State of S\u00e3o Paulo, to expand knowledge and debate the topics that are impacting Accounting, from Tax Reform to the use of new technologies, such as Artificial Intelligence.<\/p>\n
Around 300 participants were present at the Santo Andr\u00e9 Regional CONVECON, including accounting professionals from all over the state, sponsors and visitors.<\/p>\n
Tributes<\/strong><\/p>\n During the event, the president of CRCSP, Jo\u00e3o Carlos Castilho Garcia, and the vice president of Registration of CRCSP, Eliane Aparecida Maia, presented professionals over 70 years of age and with over 50 years of professional registration with CRCSP with a Diploma of Merit and Recognition, highlighting their work, competence and dedication to the accounting profession. The honorees were: Ant\u00f4nio de Sillos Navarro, Ant\u00f4nio Razoppi, Dorival da Rocha Mello, Irene Grasson Pereira de Souza Viola, Jayme Felice J\u00fanior, Jo\u00e3o Ivanov Filho, Jurandyr Malaman, Luiz Ant\u00f4nio Paulino, Nafatail Alves, Nobuya Yomura, Pedro Ferreira Granja and Zoilo de Souza Assis.<\/p>\n Presentations and lectures<\/strong><\/p>\n CONVECON Regional participants also attended the following panels:<\/p>\n \u201cPrepare for the Preparation of the New Income Statement \u2013 IFRS 18\u201d, with speaker Alexandre Gonzales and moderation by CRCSP advisor Adilvo Pinheiro de Oliveira Fran\u00e7a J\u00fanior;<\/p>\n \u201cLeadership with a Focus on Business\u201d, with specialist M\u00e1rcia do Nascimento Basso Jorge and moderated by the vice-president of Inspection, Ethics and Discipline of CRCSP, Fl\u00e1via Augusto;<\/p>\n \u201cConflict Management and Opportunities in Business Mediation\u201d, taught by the vice-president of the Academia Paulista de Contabilidade (APC), Angela Zechinelli Alonso, and mediated by the vice-president of Professional Development of the Council, Wander Pinto;<\/p>\n \u201cIntegration of Generative AI with Existing Accounting Systems and the Importance of Professional Training in Day-to-Day Accounting\u201d, with speaker F\u00e1bio da Roza Oliveira and moderation by the vice-president of Administration and Finance of CRCSP, Helo\u00edsa de Castro Alves Felippe da Silva, and the vice-president of Administration of the Association of Accounting Services Companies of the State of S\u00e3o Paulo (Aescon-SP), Inez Lemos Lopes, and<\/p>\n \u201cThe Best Opportunities with Tax Reform Using Artificial Intelligence\u201d, presented by specialist Caroline de Souza and moderated by the director of Professional Development at Ibracon \u2013 5th Regional Section, Christiano Augusto Beleze dos Santos, and by CRCSP advisor Renato Prone Teixeira da Silva.<\/p>\n The 29th Santo Andr\u00e9 Regional CONVECON was held by the S\u00e3o Paulo Accounting Institute (IPC), organized by the Accounting Entities of the State of S\u00e3o Paulo: CRCSP, Fecontesp, Sindcont-SP, Sescon-SP, Aescon-SP, Apejesp, Ibracon \u2013 5th Regional Section and the S\u00e3o Paulo Accounting Academy, with support from the Santo Andr\u00e9 Accountants Union (Sincosa) and Anhanguera Educacional.<\/p>\n The Regional Conventions include activities designed according to the market demands of each region.
