Law 13,874\/19, which amended Law 8,934\/94, which provides for the Public Registry of Commercial Companies and Related Activities, determines that the accountant, or the lawyer of the interested party, can declare the authenticity of the copy of the document, thus being authentication is not required.<\/p>\n
DREI Normative Instruction No. 60 considers the interested party's lawyer or accountant to be the professional who signs the request for the act taken for registration. Together with the Declaration of Authenticity, the Normative Instruction establishes that a simple copy of the professional card must be presented.<\/p>\n
Among IN's considerations for opening permission for accountants and lawyers to declare the authenticity of documents, there is the principle of good faith in the relationship between the State and companies; the need to simplify and reduce bureaucracy in company registration and reduce the possibility of fraud and increase penalties for those responsible if it occurs.<\/p>\n
